With the apple tv we have the technical possibility to have a really nice experience with Plex but one problem is that Plex app for appletv have to be upgraded to allow Direct play and Direct stream instead of transcoding all the time.
The solution will be to use the same Decoders like in Infuse 5.7, it allows to play everything without transcoding and it is a really nice experience but i already paid the Plex Pass like a lot of people and we prefer the Plex app.
So please Plex Dev team, can you upgrade the Apple tv app to allow us to have this decoders ? , i’m sure that a lot of people are waiting for it.
Other nice functionality will be to have the ability to change subtitles and audio languages directly during streaming in the upper menu ( it works in every apple tv app )
