Way to set one tuner device as the priority or default?

I’ve got two dual-tuner Hauppauge devices:

HVR-2250 (PCIe)
Dual-HD (USB)

Even though I set up the DualHD tuner first and then added the HVR, it seems to be defaulting to using the HVR for live TV. I’d like it to use the newer DualHD since it seems to have snappier response. Any way to set tuner priority?

I didn’t give enough info the first time.

I installed the PCIe card first, because I couldn’t find the USB device for a while. Once I did, I went back in and deleted the LiveTV/DVR supt altogether, and installed the USB device and WinTV along with it. Then I set up LiveTV/DVR all over again, adding the USB device first.

I tried this method last night but it didn’t work. The IDs switched back to their original values, and I notice that the CreatedAt date for the PCIe card is showing as the original setup date, even though I deleted it.

I don’t want to do anymore back end tinkering (I know how dangerous it can be) so I’m hoping there’s a more legitimate way to reset the tuner priority.
