I have two Primes and an Extend. I want Plex to prefer the Extend (on Antenna) and fail over to the Prime without a cable card (QAM) then finally draw from the CableCard Prime that is usually reserved for Media Center. The exact opposite seems to happen. I’ve tried adding the tuners in order that I want them, then tried the reverse. It seems Plex is ordering them by IP address (lowest to highest). Am I missing something simple? There are other posts but thier reason behind prioritizing is different so they have different workarounds that won’t fit my scenario. Can Plex really not have a priority setup?
Currently the only way to modify the tuner priority is to manually modify the database table that contains the tuner configurations. There is a thread on the forum discussing the topic.
