Multiple episodes in one file spanning multiple seasons

So I've got a 2 part episode (S03E26 and S0401) combined into one big episode, and Plex does not seem to be able to handle this one when adding it to the library. I get S03E26 but no S04E01. I was wondering what I can do to get this into my library properly.

maybe take it out of the season 3 folder.  I would take it out of folder completely>empty trash>clean bundles then put it in the STtNG folder but not he season 3 folder. but somehow I doubt even that will help

you will probably just have to split the file into two

Multi-Episode files don’t work between seasons. You will have to split the file.
