2 video h264 only one transcoding...why?

Server Version#: 1.22.1.4275
Player Version#: 5.12.0

Good evening,

Server: Raspberry Pi4 4gb OpenMediavault 5+Docker Portainer PMS
Client: Samsung 2019 Q64 55’

It’s not possible to see first video (VID_20200906_103425.mp4) because of server transcoding.
2th video (VID_20200906_144559.mp4) can be seen very well: no server transcoding.

Same gigabit network, same smartphone camera, same recording settings, no subtitles.
I can’t understand why one video is transcoded while the other is not. Is there anyone who can help me?

what does the app say why it is in playback info?

In client i can read the following data:

-for movie where transcode is active
40mbps 1080p (original)

-for movie not transcoded
40.1mbps 1080p (original)

For each video direct play setting is enabled

during playback bring up the on screen controller and choose the three dots to the right. then toggle Playback information on. then when you go back to playback it should have more info overlaid on the screen. including reason for transcode

I moved video to another library.
I enabled video playback: the error seems related to FPS. Maybe movie has only little fps more than 60.
Is there a way to force it and riproduce it without transcoding?

you can disable transcoding on the server but there is no way to tell the client not ask the server to transcode if it is needed.

I read about forcing client profile using an xml configuration in server.
For your opinion, is it possibile?
However I don’t find the Samsung TV default profile as starting point.

For some reason, the mp4 file is stating that its maximum frame rate exceeds 60fps. Which is probably not correct.
Try remuxing it to MKV. MKVtoolnixGUI and use that instead.

I understand the max frame rate but i don’t understand only one video is played without transcoding reason.
