Plexamp Desktop v4.50.7-beta.4
Everything in the 4.50.7 beta cycle so far, since 4.50.6.
- A changed downloaded playlist no longer leaves Downloads stuck refreshing when all of its tracks are already present.
- Windows on ARM: Plexamp no longer reports that it can’t create a log file every time it starts.
- Opening an album whose details don’t load no longer crashes the app.
- Downloading a single track, or any selection of tracks, now works instead of sticking on Preparing.
- A downloaded smart playlist now drops tracks that stop matching it.
- A download you start while downloads are paused is no longer lost, and begins on its own once they resume.
- Downloads being prepared show how far along they are, instead of spinning with no indication.
- A download that can’t start says why, rather than sitting on Preparing.
- The Downloads badge counts each unfinished track once, including artwork and metadata repair work.
- Starting a download during the launch refresh no longer interrupts it, and routine refreshes no longer scan every track file.
- Smart playlists retain every download through partial, interrupted, and rapid refreshes while still removing tracks the server confirms are gone.
- Windows: album art now reaches the system now-playing panel, and the apps that read it, like taskbar widgets.
- Windows: the taskbar icon is drawn from the full-resolution artwork instead of a scaled-up 16px one.
- Desktop: an error no longer replaces Plexamp with a page of raw error text.
- A download interrupted by the launch refresh no longer shows more tracks remaining than it has left.
