Hi all,
Just noticed with remote streaming. My friend has 20MB up, bitrate of file is around 6MB. It immediately plays for a second, then stops and says this connection is not fast enough to stream, then a second later will carry on playing just fine. Seems like the buffer amount is too short as this is repeatable with other remote media too. I didn’t have this problem before with a previous beta and it’s not the time of day because I was playing late evenings. It’s repeatable is what I’m trying to get at. Thanks for listening.

Have you tried other plex clients? That logic is not specific to the Android client, all clients are in the process of implementing it using the same restrictions, so we can’t change it. And I’d say we didn’t change anything major in latest releases.

Wasn’t present on other clients. It seems to have cleared up over the last few days. I’ve made a list of deficiencies / potential improvements below. Just making sure you’re aware of it? Is there a reason us testers aren’t getting release notes for the beta builds? It would be nice if you had an idea of what scenarios we can test so we can help you further? I really want the Nvidia SHIELD app to be the best it can be.
