Yesterday we released Plex Media Server 1.43.0.10467 to production and saw reports of issues with package signatures. We are in the process of rolling back that release while we debug this issue. The current production version will be 1.42.2.10156 once that roll back is complete.
Some background: we are currently migrating to a new build system for PMS. That migration has taken longer than we initially anticipated and introduced some additional complications with regard to how these packages are signed for Debian and Redhat (RHEL) linux distributions.
The recent release attempted to make this upgrade seamless for PMS users on these linux distributions but there was a problem that caused most package managers to find issues with the Plex debian and rpm repositories. We apologize for this inconvenience.
no impact to pms servers at all, the impact was to linux package managers. unfortunately we do not have the setup to only pull some distributions but not others.
