I am not sure if it is possible or if I just don’t have something set right. But on my TV series (what I am doing first), it has a circled pic for each actor, which is nice. But when you press on it, it does not take you to a bio of the person. Just list the episode. Is there a way to have the pic lead you to a bio like what is in IMDB?
Thinking they are actively working on something similar to what you are looking for. I’d guess it will be similar to the artist view in a music library. Hopefully with ‘hubs’ broken out by things like actor, self, director, writer, similar people, et cetera.
The Actor Image takes you to ALL other items with that Actor in it, in the library you’re in. It doesn’t cross libraries (TV Shows/Movies). It also doesn’t work across multiple Movie or TV Show Libraries. It only works for the Library you are in. (Plex is designed around the ‘One Library Each’ model):
For Instance, since I use One Library for Movies, if I click on John Wayne’s Image, I see ALL the Movies with John Wayne in them (all 62 of them):
It doesn’t work on Android Apps.
All you get is the image that goes nowhere.
Yes I know that is how it is working on mine. But I was wanting an actor bio, like what IMDb has.
We do not have bio pages at this time but it is something we want to add in the future.
