It would be great to see the actor images used more in the plex clients. I know the plex web, tvOS , and kodi clients already make pretty good use of this info, but that information is almost non existent in the mobile apps, plex media player, and the android TV app…
It would be nice to see the actors image next to their name as you filter by actor. Then when you have selected an actor to filter on it would be nice that actor image displayed somewhere on the screen kind of like how you guys are…
Currently, if you view an actor in a Movie library, Plex will only show results from that library. Likewise for TV Show libraries.
It would be nice if when viewing an actor, results from all available libraries (libraries visible to user) would be used, grouping by library. This way you could see all TV Shows AND Movies for a given actor in one location.
As for Plex Media Player, I would like to be able to click on Thumbnails of an actor and see all of the movies he’s playing in…
