The process of modifying (or canceling) a show recording differs between clients.
In some situations not available at all.
Consider a show with recorded episodes but no upcoming airings:
Using Plex HTPC application running on Windows 10/11:
In the DVR Schedule screen, clicking on future recordings does open the recording options. But since we are considering a show with no upcoming airings this method does not work.
In the DVR Schedule screen, clicking on recorded episode does nothing.
In the Recording Priority screen, clicking on the show only gives access to “Send to top” or “Send to bottom”
In this scenario how can I modify or cancel the recording?
In other clients this process is inconsistent or also unavailable.
For example, in the web client or Android client on my phone, clicking the show from the Recording Priority screen does bring up the modify/cancel recording dialog.
In the Android client running on Chromecast with Google TV:
-clicking future airings in the DVR Schedule does nothing, but the scenario we are considering has no future airings so this would not help anyway
-clicking recorded episodes in the DVR Schedule does nothing either.
-in the Recording Priority list (which is very hard to get to on this client!), the modify/cancel recording dialog is unavailable.
