The DEO VR player seems to support all major VR headsets. I’m not exactly what license agreement they require but ‘Free licensing without hidden fees’ is advertised on the home page.
Implementation seems rather straightforward. Please check into this as currently there is no easy way to watch 3d videos in your plex collection on desktop without downloading the file and playing it in another player. Of course you can turn on DLNA but you lose privacy/sharing settings and all of plex’s great functionality.
