Hi, I am telling you that these days I have been carrying out many tests on my server for Windows v1.32.3.7089 and I have found the solution to the serious Buffering problem, with high bitrate rates, especially in BDremux files 4k HDR. When I play movies and TV series with very high bitrate rates BDremux with the client for Android TV v9.23.0.1746 the playback stops constantly and the circle remains rotating in the middle of the screen for a few seconds, also in the server control panel reports the word “Buffering”. But after doing many tests with the VLC player (a project VideoLAN) I see that all the constant buffering problems are completely solved and with VLC the buffering problems completely disappear and movies with very high bitrate rates play perfectly fine with VLC.
Because of what I am explaining to you, I suggest you please add the libVLC player (a project VideoLAN) as an internal player in the Android TV client, of course without removing the ExoPlayer player. What they can do is add an option in the client settings section for Android TV where you can select between libVLC and ExoPlayer.
So all the people who use Plex Pass Premium and who have serious buffering problems with files with high bitrate rates, we will have the option to switch to libVLC in all the movies and series that have buffering problems with ExoPlayer since it is completely It has been shown that VLC solves the Buffering problem.
