Add Music Equalizer function to Android App

Hi

Sorry if this has been raised before, but would like a Music Equalizer added to the Android Plex App.

In my opinion, equalization should be at the system level and out of the individual apps' hands.

Why would you want that?  Just curious.  When I'm listening to a CD that has too much bass or could use a little more clarity I don't want to be changing my global phone EQ.  Most player apps come with an EQ for this reason.  Even within Plex, just because I want to make a CD sound better with my current earbuds doesn't mean I want to change the EQ of movies and everything else.

Which player apps come with an EQ builtin and on what hardware?

On Android : Poweramp, Blackplayer and many more … even Google Music its own equalizer !

So does Spotify on both Android and IOS.
I find it hard to believe that agregjones does’t know this.

Plex users have been asking for a EQ for six years, as far as I know, nothing yet. :frowning:

IOS definitely needs an EQ, as there’s no system-level option.
