i want to know if it’s possible to allow time range for devices where they can access or not plex server, i use same type of time range for wifi router to limit acces in time for kids , and even if i shut internet access , they still have access to local network with iphone for example and still able to look at plex
Plex does not provide such a feature, nor are there plans to add this.
Does your router not limit local network access too?
In addition… there’s already an existing feature suggestion discussing an option to limit the access of users to a specific schedule. I suggest you comment/vote in that thread in order to help us avoid distracting or cannibalizing votes (even if there might be no immediate plans as stated above). Unless I’m missing some unique aspect of your suggestion I’ll close this thread as a duplicate (or move it into a different section if you want to continue discussing router-based access limits …
no i can’t limit local lan access with my router on a time plan based, only internet access for all devices on router

Sounds like you are using an overall control mechanism. Does your router have parental control features? This usually limits all access, even local, and can be done on a per device basis so you can limit your kids without affect yourself.
My asus router allow only internet time scheduling as far as i know , will dig this just in case of finding a way
