AGAIN: Failed to fetch https://downloads.plex.tv/repo/deb/dists/public/Release.gpg

I asked our Operations team to push all the files again.

Thank you for helping out with a region.

Works now for me, in Scandinavia.

Works again for me as well now. I’m also located in Scandinavia, so it seems like it was something regional.

I just did a clean install of Linux Mint 19.3 64-bit and I am having this Key issue.
US - Denver

GPG error: https://downloads.plex.tv/repo/deb/ public Release: The Following signatures were invalid: BADSIG 97203C7B3ADCA79D Plex Inc.

Confirming, I am getting the same issue on a fresh Ubuntu Server (19.10.1) install on a RPi3 in Australia.

The team has been notified. Europe wakes in a few hours so fingers crossed

Europe here: I am also getting the same issue on a (relatively) fresh raspbian stretch install.

same here thought it was just me :grinning:

Same here… Can’t install plex media server on my freshly installed raspberry pi 4 :frowning:

Please recheck ?

Still the same problem…

Thanks.

That confirms what I’m seeing.
I’ve knocked on the door again to see if we can get it resolved.

Thanks for that, been pulling my hair out, I reformatted my OS after upgrading my Pi from a 3B to 4B and went to install the media server and got the same errors as above

ā€œBFHā€ mode is rarely called for until after learning the root cause

was more a ā€œnew systemā€ ā€œnew installā€ idea, i am sure we will keep yourselves informed as to progress on whether the signing has been successful

no biggie. I often do major PEBKACs to myself and BFH more than I care to admit in mixed company

Same exact issue here, from Europe! Glad I found this forum discussion, I was going crazy. Hope it gets resolved soon.

Well this explains a lot, hope it gets resolved.
Now I have an excuse to go to bed

To help me from having another PEBKAC,

I’m closing this and pointing to the collection point.
