I recently received what looked like a woke AI generated violation after using the “lists” feature for the first time. I have the the Bruce Willis, “Die Hard” movie series and created a list for it. Here’s the rub, when creating the list, it defaults to “public” viewing which most of us don’t realize or notice when using it for the first time. We’re busy concentrating on creating these lists and and library. So now, the AI says I broke their policies and threatens me after being a loyal customer for 10 plus years. I’m so pissed, I can’t see straight. So, yes, I changed all of my lists to private. What the hell is Plex doing sharing our data and privacy as its default anyway? And they wonder why we’re leaving them for other options like jellyfin.
