Last I read about this, the music player and the video player were separate and that this wouldn’t be worked on, but it seems like a huge oversight to me. When I shuffle my music or playlists, when a song with a music video attached is played, I’d love if I could toggle the app to play the music video or the song. IIRC iTunes does something similar; Groove did something similar when it was alive; there’s more players that probably do this.
I’m hoping with the recent attention towards music and audio playback that this is at least something that’s being thought about!
