Always losing Movie Server

I continually have problems with this –

The Server “Movie Server” is unavailable. Plex will try to automatically connect to this server.

It constantly drops. Is that a Plex issue? I have the latest update. I was watching a movie last night and it kept skipping and dropping, and then just completely dropped and never completed the movie. I was already in bed, so I didn’t get up to monkey around with it, but I just came in on my PC to see what what was going on, and the server is still down. Honestly, my Plex is down more than it is up. Please help.

To add - it’s been going on 3 hours since I posted this, and I still have not connected to the Plex server. Seriously - no one has had this problem?

What version of PMS?
What OS are you running on the PC?

also you can always check https://status.plex.tv/ for the status of plex.tv services

Thanks, hthighway! I am running 2.8.1, and run on Firefox.

Just checked status (thanks for the link) and it said all systems were operational. Yet, alas, mine is not. :confused:
