How are you measuring what speed your getting with the amazon application?
I just upped my internet but comcast’s 150 down is only 20up and I probably getting half that so its gonna take a long while
I’m seeing 1.5-2.5 with rclone. Max should be around 8.
I wanted to fill everyone in on what I found with this issue. It was Comcast. Not sure what they did to resolve the problem, but after a 3 hour conversation with support my upload speeds improved significantly just using the Amazon App. When I asked what was causing the slow uploads to Amazon the response was “the engineer I was working with took care of the issue” So, if you are using Comcast, and have slow upload speeds, give them a call.
I am using rclone to upload, and have 1 gbps upload speed. Here is an example of the throughput I am getting.
Transferred: 3375.028 GBytes (34.286 MBytes/s)
Elapsed time: 28h0m1s
So, basically, I have uploaded 3.2TB, in about 28 hours.
And for what it is worth, I also get about the same upload speed uploading to google drive, as I do with amazon drive.
I have switched to using rclone to upload to Amazon Cloud & am getting 2.5x the upload speed of the Amazon uploader.
