I have now attempted to set my Fire TV Stick to automatically sign in 5 times. I put a check mark in the “automatically sign in” box under settings>main but it still asks for my PIN every time. Please advise a fix as the Fire TV stick does not allow for hidden PIN within the Plex app so anyone watching with me will now know my PIN. Aside from this, it’s just simply annoying that a setting does not work as it should. Thanks

I noticed this as well. I have also seen that when the app restarts the box is always unchecked again. Unfortunately, since it is the weekend a response will likely not happen until the start of next week.
Same problem here. It looks like all of the “Main” settings get reset every time you launch Plex.

This was fixed some time ago. The problem was the automatic sign in setting wasn’t being saved (along with a few other settings). Please make sure you are running the latest version of the app and verify the option is enabled.
Okay, thanks. I just updated the software for the FireTV Stick. does that also update the Plex app or do I need to unistall and reinstall it to ge the latest version?
The app should update itself although there were problems with some updates. Uninstall and reinstall would be the best.
