Since my last app update, whenever I try to stream anything over 480p, my app constantly tells me that my connection isn’t fast enough to stream at this quality. Even when I’m on the same network. I have no issues with ANY other device, nor does my wife have issues on her iPhone. It is solely restricted to my Android.
I’m in the same boat. I tested my android phone which works fine but my tablet buffers every 5-10 sec and shows me the same message. Local network only. All worked fine before.
Wondering if I can download older version maybe…? Running out of ideas.
Figured it out, as least for myself. My old tablet only has 802.11b or something wifi and cannot stream 1080p on local network fast enough. I set Plex on that tablet to always play at 720p, and that corrects the problem.
I had found and set this in the past, it must’ve been reset by an update or something.
