Android app on latest beta version freezes after viewing several images within an album on my Galaxy phone and tablet. I can replicate this by opening an album with many images, zooming in and then out (pinch to zoom) for each image, then swiping to the next image and repeating this process. After several images, it either won’t let you zoom into an image, or the app is stuck on that specific image as if it’s the only image in the album. *Freezing in this case means it acts as if that’s the only image in the album and won’t let you go forward or backwards or zoom, but the app itself is perfectly fine as it is technically running on the OS with no issues and I can easily go back into the album view with no errors.
I’m assuming it might be loading while this happens, as sometimes if I open another app and then come back, I will be able to swipe for the next several images, but might not be able to zoom, or I’ll run into another freeze.
I can determine that this is related specifically to the app, as I have a separately signed older version of Plex android app on 9.20.1.979 and I can view albums perfectly fine with none of these issues. For now, I work around this by going back to the album after it freezes within an image and then scrolling back to where I left off where it will load the next few before it inevitably freezes again.
Hopefully this can be solved soon as it is annoying having to do this. Thank you.
Attached is a video demonstration of the problem happening. As you can see, it will get “stuck” until I go back to the library and reopen the image from that point on.
