WHATS NEW:

  • New Plex Mobile experience with many major enhancements including:
    • Customizable sidebar navigation.
    • Ability to pin your favorite libraries from all your servers to the sidebar.
    • Reorder your libraries in the sidebar.
    • Quick access to all the rest of your media through the “More” menu item.
    • Redesigned tab views that remember your previous view within each library (can be controlled via setting).
  • Playback: improve performance starting playback.

FIXES:

  • Live TV: TV guide programs could be incorrectly grouped into a single channel.
  • [Mobile] Re-ordering hubs now shows the source name when the hub title is duplicated.
  • [Mobile] Live TV: show channel number on TV guide if there is no channel logo available.
  • [Mobile] Player: switching quality could lead to player accidentally closing.
  • [Mobile] Player: fix audio dropouts when approaching end of video.
  • [Mobile] Preplay could not correctly display related content.
  • [Mobile] Claim server dialog didn’t close after successfully claiming the server.
  • [Mobile] Filters: selecting a filter would dismiss the multi select screen.
  • [Mobile] Player: improve information displayed for web shows content.

  • Automatic Home mode that seamlessly configures your home screen based on your pinned sources. Upcoming versions of Plex Media Server will allow unpinned sources to be filtered from your home screen. Automatic Home can be toggled via HOME options.

FIXES:

  • UNO: would not always re-discover offline servers in More screen.
  • Starting playback from a playlist item could generate wrong play queue.
  • Android Auto: playback operations would not run.
