WHATS NEW:

  • Player: AAC Main playback support.
  • [Mobile] Sync: Now automatically removing legacy synced media items.

FIXES:

  • LiveTV: TVGuide would not load for PMSs on older versions.
  • Player: HEVC playback could have got stuck loading.
  • Player: update ExoPlayer to v2.18.0.
  • Discover: don’t recommend content from providers that have been disabled in the account settings.
  • Player: prefer SDR media if HDR is not supported.
  • Player: allow Plex Media Server to decide on media to use when transcoding and multiple exist.
  • [Mobile] Loading spinner could fail to display when loading your friends list or library access page.

  • Use a localised date format in the activity feed.
  • Improve the layout of the preplay activity feed in landscape orientation.
  • Improve the tablet layout of the user profile.
  • Deep link into the app would be lost when switching users.
  • Manual Connection: servers would not be found.
