Android TV client unable to play with subtitles

Adam,
I’m trying to diagnose & isolate this now for the transcoder team to dig further.

Would you please help me by:

  1. Verify DEBUG logging ON, VERBOSE logging OFF
  2. Start a playback again (recreate)
  3. play for up to 30 seconds
  4. stop playback & wait another 30
  5. Download the log files
  6. Attach the ZIP file it gives you so I may review them

Can you please recreate your problem and include the XML of the item you’re playing?

I’m still working on isolating this problem and believe I’ve found a common element,.

I also verified that the desktop Plex application was able to open the test file when disconnected from the internet, but the Android TV Plex application was not.

In addition, while I was disconnected, I was unable to retrieve the log files, since the uri was online as well.

I haven’t had this issue in many months. I’m unable to recreate it.

I’m having this issue with my new Mi TV 4S 43" with latest plex server (1.20.1.3252) and plex client. The video always plays ok but the subtitles never shows on.
