You sure? Your logs show you have an NVidia Shield tablet running Android 7.0. AFAIK, NVidia never released 7.0 on that device.

nvidia released a beta a long time ago, then last weekend they released an ota of 7 but it had issues and they pulled it… maybe this is one of the issues.
I would factory reset the shield then apply the update to 6.3 as you will not get the 7 update until they fix the issues.
This is just what I would do so take it with a grain of salt.

I get what you’re coming from, but it was an update to Plex where playback broke not an OTA push.

The user has an NVidia Shield tablet, not the Shield TV. We found an issue with devices having custom ROMs running into this problem. Hopefully the fix for that will also help in this case.

The shield tablet’s were updated to android 7(Nougat) when they released 5.0 in feb of 2017. so yes it is probably the Plex side.
