Certainly something I would be interested in. Any plans to implement?

I would be more in favor of an Initial Pairing of devices where you did this once and then didn’t need to do it again.
For any initial connection your Two Factor Auth would be required…
1 - Account Login
2 - Pin generated by Server needing to be entered before connection was allowed.

Server would then send an Auth Certificate that remains on the device so Login is no longer needed.
This would prevent hacking into accounts altogether since someone in proximity to the server would have to give the Pin to the person.

Yes, absolutely. I think most good TFA authentication models work like you are describing where it would only be required for the initial connection per device.

What is best about the PIN method is that you can’t auth via network alone…
It requires a Human or physical transference of security that can’t be spoofed or compromised remotely.
IMO All Personal Cloud services should use these methods.
