Anyone working on a Wallop (HDHomeRun proxy) plugin?

Is anyone working on a plugin for Wallop? I've been dinking around with writing a plugin but quickly found that I was way out of my league.

Basically the plugin would need to grab a list of channels provided via JSON from wallop then request a url to tune the stream then wait for a url status to return ok then start streaming from another url. 

 

I can provide access to a wallop install that is working well with a hdhomerun prime.

 

I'm willing to do more leg work on this if someone can point me in the direction of good (simple) example plugin that pulls a list of url's via json.

I'm going to follow this thread... I might work this into the HD Surfer plug-in at some point and I don't want to forget. :-)
