I am suddenly unable to connect via https://app.plex.tv/desktop. It was working fine just a few days ago. It is displayn the message “app.plex.tv is unable to connect to “servername” securely”.
At some point it gave me the option to connect directly via the ip adress path XXX.XXX.X.XXX:324000 and then it shows a message saying “This application is at XXX.XXX.X.XXX and is not hosted by Plex”. I have no idea why it says that. I’ve only evr used official Plexserver packages. After agreeing to that I can access the server, but the app.plex.tv wep app is still refusing to connect. I can even connect remotely via public ip, but not on app.plex.tv.
I have reviewd the secure connections settings, they’re set to preferred, so it should work. It had been working for years this way.
Does anybody have any suggestions to make this work normally again?
