Apple TV not advertising as player

I’m trying to control a new Apple TV 4K (3rd Gen) from both an iPhone and iPad, however the Apple TV is simply not showing up under the “Plex Apps on Other Devices” screen. I’ve turned on the “Advertise as player” option on the Apple TV. The iPhone and iPad can both see and cast to each other as expected, and both can cast to my RasPlex player that I normally use.
All devices are on the same subnet (so should be no firewall or routing issues), and I can use the normal iOS Remote control to control the Apple TV.
Is there anything I’m missing?
