Hello,

Is there a way to change the Aspect Ratio of a movie, or set a default Aspect Ratio with PlexConnect?

 

Example... play a 4:3 or 2.35:1 movie, and stretch it to 16:9 full screen?

 

The Plex Client for Windows has a Viewmode option in a cfg file to set a default Aspect Ratio to 16:9, so wondering if PlexConnect has an option?

As above but most modern TVs have either an aspect ratio button or a menu item that let's you alter the aspect ration of non-widescreen content.

Is there any workaround? I’m running plexconnect on an appleTV3, outputting to a 4:3 monitor. Everything is placed inside the chassis of a 1950s TV. It looks really cool for old movies and tv. I’d rather stretch things than have black bars!
I used to be able to edit the mpv.conf to make everything look right when i was running off of a laptop. Any hidden settings I could fix to force aspect ratio?
