Audio issue

Before I had to reinstall plex it would play any audio format without any issues, but now it won’t play anything with eac3 5.1. Anyway to fix this, or do I have to convert all my files now?

I have the issue that if you play something together with another windows client the sounds starts lagging like ping is 200 and dropping packets like an American on a sand dune.
