We need a library type dedicated to Audiobook. They need to be there own category and not lumped in with Music or anything else. (+1)

Yes, but with the recent UI update for Android (PMP? XBone?), all audio libraries are lumped together under the āMusicā category. As opposed to having separate audio libraries available from the home screen.
This thread was created long before such inane categorization was a thing in Plex, but now the current categories give extra reason why having an audiobook content type is more ideal.
thereās a more category and in that category is now Live TV & DVR and Podcasts. I can see them putting Audiobooks in there too. Idk, nothing is impossible. Some of the simplest things to implement are the things that are being overlooked the most. Gapless audio playback, Audiobooks, etcā¦ but the guys at PLEX do keep pushing things out so I have faith that all these things will be covered in time
