Auto-delete option for video preview [BIF] files based on age

I imagine a setting where you can set “X” number of days to keep video preview (.bif) files from their creation date before they are automatically deleted. Also an ability to exempt files, series, or libraries from the purge would be nice.

I like the previews and want to leave them on, but they take up a lot of space and can easily outgrow even a 500GB SSD on a single-application dedicated server. For TV I only really want them there for the first few months after they are added, but want to keep them forever for my Movies.

The auto-cull of the time-expired .bif files will keep the space they occupy down to a manageable size for a reasonably sized SSD. This way you can keep the video preview .bif files (along with all other bundled thumbs and such) in their original location on the system SSD, so menus and navigation will be smoother and thumbnail and background pictures will load faster than if they have to be loaded off an external hard drive.
