For a couple of months now plex is not working great. I have a mac mini with plex server and player on it. I start playback via the server website, link to the player or use the IOS plex app.
2 problems have been bugging me for months now, hoping it would be resolved by now.

The select player, loves to disconnect every few seconds. Ive unwillingly got used to that. Bur very annoying if you like to brows around and build your play queue.

the autoplay function has become very buggy. even though it should be on by default, its not. Also if you turn it on using the toggle button in web interface, it immediately turns off after you turn it on. Now if may be on, or not, no way to tell, I just wait till the end of a show. Sometimes it continues other times it stops at a black screen at the end of the show.
Clicking play may either skip the next in queue or just play the next in queue. very nice to find out while you are bingewatching that you missed an episode.
I have this problem using safari and google chrome browser.
It seems like the more platforms are supported and the plex organisation grows the less problems are resolved. it just gets worse and worse.
