So, I received a strange pop-up from AVG today, advising, and I quote: “Plex Media Server.exe is trying to access your login info in Firefox.” - “This info includes your username and password.”
This is extremely strange, and concerning. Does anyone have some insight as to why Plex Media Server is trying to view my Firefox saved passwords file?

That doesn’t sound right, as why is the Plex Server the only app on my PC which uses Firefox’ password manager?
I also never opened Plex, and have never seen this pop-up in the past.
Essentially, I have Plex Media Server running on my Windows “Server”, it sits there, and I’ve never seen such a popup in the past. AVG clearly shows that the Plex Media Server is trying to access the Firefox passwords file.
FYI, I do not have Firefox saved passwords - rather, I use Lastpass. There are zero password entries in Firefox in the “Logins & Passwords” Saved Logins section.
The fact that Plex Media Server is trying to access my saved passwords still doesn’t make sense as I am unable to find any clarification of this in any documents/online.
