Back Up the Plex Media Server Database

Hi

So I have quite a large plex server (about 25000 songs, 10,000 photos, 1000+ videos) running on a Windows server

I back up all the media files themselves to a different, external hard drive.

But how do I back up a copy of the PMS server database?

That looks like the sort of thing I need.

I am not very technical so forgive me if these are dumb questions.

But where do you download the file from? All the hyperlinks seem to link to open up pages of code (which I assume is the script itself) which I guess I need to copy and paste into a text editor, save it as a .ps file and then try it?

Or does the powershell script exist somewhere as a downloadable file and I just download it.

Yes. You just download the script. Powershell is now built right into Windows.
