Has anyone written a BBC agent? All BBC shows which have been downloaded via get_iplayer contain their PID and this can be looked up at www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/[pid] to get machine-readable thumbnails and summaries.
If nobody has, is there a sandbox for testing new agents?
