I own 4 of those (LS-220) and I have to tell you, I can’t even imagine those are powerful enough to do anything other than being a simple NAS. They’re great at doing that but that is all.
Most peoples’ phones are far more-powerful that the typical consumer off-the-shelf NAS appliance. You either need to build your own NAS with actual horsepower, or run PMS on a separate box.
So in the end I return it for a QNAP 251 and it seems to run fine, just need to upgrade the RAM so it can upload new films and stream without juddering
