Since PMP updated 2.16.0 I found the screensaver behavior is no longer working as it did. Previously when Plex was running if not playing any media it would put its own plex screen saver on which my Apple remote can disrupt. However, now plex own screen saver doesn’t come on and the macOS screensaver comes on instead which is not disrupted by the Apple remote. I have to access a keyboard to get the screen back… quite an inconvenience for a multimedia setup…
