[Bug report] Windows client triggers Nvidia GPU transcoding error

Server Version#: 1.41.5.9522
Player Version#: 1.108.1.307-dd5b87aa
My plex server is running as a docker container with a Nvidia tesla P4 card. The hardware transcoding works fine with ios clients. But when playing videos with a Windows client (desktop or browser), with any transcoding settings (H265, H264, any bitrate), the transcoder GPU process will exit almost immediately and the playback will stuck after several seconds.
There is an error log like this:
Denying access due to session lacking permission to transcode key /library/metadata/xxx

Since this only happens with Windows clients, I do not think this is a simple user configuration error. As it works fine with other clients. It’s really strange that a different client is able to crash the server. Acting like they are not isolated by the network protocols somehow.

I’m not the only one facing this problem. See here for more.

Do you guys have any form of customer support? Do you care about your software quality at all? Or you just leave it to the users to figure it out by themselves? Do you even read the posts? At least pretend that you care. What a stupid company.

Regarding this problem, May I see the server’s DEBUG logs ZIP file which captures it happening?

Very sorry I didn’t see it until tonight.
Sometimes the forum doesn’t notify me.

I might have the same problem. I also tried transcoding on my phone and it worked fine, but on my Plex app on my windows 11 pc it gives med Denying access due to session lacking permission to transcode key /library/metadata/5948 and on the movie it gives me error 4294967283 and closes.

I made a Post on 20.02 with same Problem and logs, no Response until today from Novarap with same Problem

!Update!
Just tested again and it does it on both x264 and x265 movies. So it must be a problem in the Windows Plex app.
