Yes. You are correct. Plex will play the forced subs if all your settings are right.
Just be sure to flag the tracks right. Take a look here. The two example pictures use the same program(MKVToolNix). So, should get you started.

Its not subtitles....but......

Here is an MKVToolNix screen showing the way you’ll want a Forced Track to look - after you have identified it - and blown all other unnecessary tracks out so it behaves properly: [image] For instance, unless you are visually impaired, there’s no reason to keep those descriptive audio tracks, or any descriptive sub tracks that you’ll get when you rip ALL the tracks. It would be a shame to go through all this and NOT get that commentary track - right? Well, you won’t know what track that is unt…

AND, the best part is they DON’T have to be mkv files or embedded into them. If you have LMA enabled you can “side-load” the sub’s. Be sure to name them correctly.
