I can’t find anything on here about caching the start of video and audio files but wouldn’t be surprised if it has come up before.

• SmartSync - preload engine for Up Next (and expanded buffering control)
• RAM Cache → same feature but OP emphasizes a use case to cache to RAM instead of SSD/HDD
