This may be slightly niche, but on my Android TV box, I have Caldera installed and I have one of my remote buttons remapped to “play/pause”. Caldera seems to hijack the input for this button, so if I:
-
go listen to some music in Caldera
-
hit pause/stop (doesn’t matter which button is used - I can hit “OK” on my remote when the play button is selected, for example)
-
go watch a video on youtube, and pause it
-
hit my remapped “play/pause” button to resume the youtube video.
Instead of the youtube video resuming, Caldera resumes the last music track I was playing while youtube remains open (and paused).
I have other music players that do not seem to do this even with my remapped remote button, so I don’t necessarily think this is a bug specific to my setup, rather I think Caldera may need to ignore input when another media playing app is “active”. I’m not sure if the Android API allows for that, but I imagine it may since other apps do not do this and I’m not sure how that’d be the case otherwise.
