Can PMS re encode DVR programs to h.264

After a program is finished recording from OTA, can PMS reencode the video to h.264? Can it launch a ffmpeg job?

I would imagine I’m not the 1st person to do this, do you happen to have a post processing script that works?

Sorry, I’m not using this myself. Nor am I a Linux user.

@ChuckPa Do you happen to know of a script that’ll post process the DVR content to h.264 using ffmpeg?

I have a HD HomeRun Duo, I enabled the Experimental option to transcode to 264 real time.
