Can someone help me with this error?

Hi All
Trying to figure out why a movie won’t import into plex, but while snooping through my logs, I found this… I’ve shortened it because it’s 10mb long and repeats the following over and over. Any idea what I need to do to fix this?

This was found in Plex Media Server.1 log.

That means your file is bad and PMS can’t read it to be able to extract the information it uses to identify the codecs and other file parameters.

If you look at the rest of the log, it should say what file or the title of the movie.

Is the file perhaps DRM protected? Years ago I had an issue with adding DRM protected files. I thought Plex was just ignoring them but after having some issues I remember finding repeating code like that though I don’t remember what exactly it was saying. Check to see if VLC plays it. If it’s not a DRM issue I’d recommend trying XMedia Recode to rewrap it, or MKVToolNix. If nothing else use Handbrake or VidCoder to Convert it, but those will result in a loss of quality to some degree, but doing a slower encode can mitigate that as much as possible at the cost of speed
