Can’t write in the Rasplex file system

Hi all
Logged as root I’m trying to open /etc/fstab in the Rasplex file system (using nano in the command line) to use the tmpfs (to write to system RAM) and save the lifespan of my SD, but…
it fails.
File is read only.
Any idea to fix that issue?

No, it’s a read only SquashFS, sorry.

Regards

Don’t believe everything you read about SD cards, it depends on what’s installed on it, Rasplex is quite kind to SD cards, I have an SD card which has been running Rasplex for the past 3 years 24/7 with no problems, started on 0.3.9, now on 1.0.3.

The best way to kill SD cards is to constantly remove power without performing a shutdown.

Okey.
Thanks a lot.
