Just made my first photo album in Plex and I can confirm I am experiencing this problem as well.

Same problem here also. Running Windows Server 2012 R2. Photo shows up briefly then error pops up. What a disappointment… Thankfully videos play fine. Just using Logitech Media Server (about 6 years old) to view photos perfectly.

PMS (recent version; can’t see the number right now) in jail on NAS4Free, Waterfox browser (Firefox x64) on Windows 10 as a client.

Same here guys. Can we please fix this. I just added my photos for my wife, and was trying to show it to her and here came the “Cannot convert this item. No conversion profile found for protocol dash.” Rather embarrassing.

Disappointed Version 1.9.0.4252 has not fixed this “annoyance”.

Is anyone facing the same error while viewing photos (JPG, CR2 at least)? I see that errors with 1.8.4.4249 release. I’m using Plex on Windows 7 (8 gig RAM),with libraries hosted on WD MyCloud NAS all connected on 1 gig switch/router.
Forum says this issue has been fixed and will be released in next version - when is this scheduled to be released.

I have version 1.9.0.4252 and I only see the problem in the web interface. Roku and Chromecast are OK
