Cannot share specific tracks with managed users

I have created a manage user profile for my son. He has device that I added Plexamp onto so he can listen to music. I created a custom curated playlist for him with some songs he likes. However, when I open the Shared Playlist on his device. None of the songs are there. In order the songs to appear, I have to add a sharing label to all of the albums that include tracks in the playlist.

The problem is, there are many albums that have other songs I do NOT want him to have access to. I only want him to have access to the specific tracks I have selected for him not the whole album where those tracks are located.

Short of creating copies of the files and adding them to a dummy album for him, what can I do? It could ideal if I could just grant access to the playlist and have him get access to just those songs or have a way for me to tag tracks in a way to arrange this.

Did you set label restrictions for their user in their profile?

@BigWheel I do have labels in place but labels can only be applied at the album level. Tracks don’t have that concept unless I am missing something.

oh ok. Then yeah the only way would be to set approved label on the album but i understand you don’t want to do that. Tracks basically take on the label of the album
